A Fragile Love Song
Narînê is a darker reimagining of a traditional love song. Musically, it draws on the familiar forms of Kurdish love and wedding songs, but the imagination is sharper, ironic, and aware: the greatest love stories are often those with unhappy endings.
The protagonist’s suspicion and uncertainty — whether he will ever reach his beloved — are reflected in Rico’s sharp synths and pulsing beats. In Hêja’s punky singing. Narînê is tension, mischief, and longing, transforming traditional motifs into contemporary, restless energy.
